MEXICO TOURISM BOARD system of quality control
::Background
With the aim of maintaining its System of
Quality Control in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 Standard, which expired in
December 2005, the Consejo de Promoción Turística de México, S.A. de C.V.
(literally Mexican Council for the Promotion of Tourism, commonly referred to
in English as the "Mexico Tourism Board") submitted the System to a
Certification Audit in December of that year and was awarded by the certifying
body BVQI Mexicana S.A. de C.V. certificate No 192401 which accredits the
Council?s System of Quality Control as meeting the requirements of the ISO
9001:2000 Standard, which is valid from December 2005 through December 2008.
